Our Genesis: The Story Behind Shodhmitra
Founded in 2022, Shodhmitra Education and Research was born out of a first-hand realization of the hurdles faced by Indian scholars and academicians. While higher education institutions were rapidly elevating their research benchmarks—mandating stringent originality limits, UGC-CARE/Scopus indexed publications, and formal book monographs—researchers often found themselves stranded with limited institutional editorial guidance.
Many researchers saw their meritorious work delayed or desk-rejected not because their research lacked depth, but due to technical complexities: formatting mismatches, citation discrepancies, accidental phrasing overlaps, and a lack of access to ethical publication channels.
To resolve this systemic challenge, Shodhmitra began its journey in 2022 in Ranchi, Jharkhand, as a dedicated academic advisory initiative. What started as an earnest effort to guide doctoral candidates through language refinement and genuine originality audits has today evolved into a full-fledged academic publishing ecosystem.
